• PHC building, Staff Quarters, services, external works, and security block are all renovated and operational.

Post – Occupancy

• The facility has experienced an increase in activity since the ribbon cutting ceremony and treatment of malaria, child delivery, postnatal and antenatal care (on Thursdays), child immunization (on Wednesdays), and covid vaccination and other PHC operations are carried out.

1. BUILDING

• Entrance compound, perimeter fence, main facility and accessory structures are in good condition.
• The Electricity Distribution Panel was changed due to lights constantly tripping and the replacement has been installed and working perfectly.
• Part-payment has been made to the power distribution company to offset the outstanding bill and enable reconnection.
• All window nets in the PHC are routinely checked due to high rate of mosquitoes in the environment. No openings/tear has been reported.
• Landscaped grass in fair condition, would require minor gardening to remove weeds and constant watering to promote plant growth.
• Water supply to the facility, is in good condition, minor adjustments to be made at shower areas and wash basins to enable adequate pressure when in use.

2. DRUGS

• Supplied drugs by DRF are in good condition. Awaiting the resumption of a Pharmacy personnel to manage drug dispensing.

3. STAFFING

• Current staff has been accessed and the recruitment process is ongoing for additional staff.

4. EQUIPMENT

• All medical/mechanical equipment supplied to the PHC by PSHAN are already in use except for the cool box.
• Some medical equipment were brought to the PHC by the SPHCDA aside the ones provided by PSHAN 2weeks after the commissioning of the PHC. Examination bed, wheelchairs, towels, and so on. This was brought to complement the ones supplied by PSHAN.

5. NEXT STEPS

• Recruit staff to support existing staff of the PHC (Process ongoing)
• Train and onboard staff
• Commence M&E process, monthly report collation, validation, and transmission
• Follow up on MoU signing by state representatives
• Carry out asset tagging
